In searching for a provider of a garden office I came across many companies who looked the part,
but on further investigation fell short; as they either did not offer a full start to end service (which I wanted) or they made the initial price look attractive and then doubled it with installation fees and hidden extras for things which you’d expect as standard. When I found Sanctum’s website, I almost felt it was too good to be true that they did offer a full end to end service at a good price which was laid out clearly; enabling me to know exactly what the overall spend would be. Sam made the quotation and scheduling very easy, and the installation team were perfect, arrived on time, did a great job, left no mess and were lovely friendly guys. As for the garden studio itself, it is well built, looks great, easy to hook up to electric and internet and is comfortable and importantly as winter is approaching; its warm too!

My wife and I are totally delighted with our Hampton Studio.
Neighbours and friends alike have all said how much they love it. The process from start to finish was so straightforward, Sam kept in touch with me via email and was quick to respond to any queries I had. The installation was sensationally quick and hassle free – special thanks to Anthony and Chris, they were true professionals and drank nowhere near as much tea as Sam told me they would require!! Seriously though the whole installation start to finish was around 4.5 hours – Incredible! We use the studio as a home office and have been working from it for just under a week now. I opted to install underfloor electric heating mats (happy to share this information with anyone who is interested) before installing the laminate floor and skirting. The insulation is unbelievable, each morning we ask Alexa to switch on the heating at 730am and we switch it off at around 830 am The studio stays at between 18 – 20 degrees throughout the entire day!! Glad I opted for an opening window!! Words can’t express how pleased we are, it is such a nice space for my wife and I to work from. Big thanks to the team at Sanctum, first class!

Arrived bang on time, and although we had a wet day after a run of hot sunny days – they cracked on and worked through – just some tea and biscuits to keep them going! It was great watching the sections being put together with a well thought out system of foundations, flooring walls and roof parts. The whole installation was complete by 2pm and the office now sits looking neat in between two trees in the garden. With an electric connection and LVT flooring being scheduled for this week I will happily send photos once I am in and working from it for you to use on your website. It’s great. And inexplicably, it makes the garden feel bigger. I don’t know how when it is such a small garden. I think it has created a series of ‘outside rooms’ and also by not being able to see the whole garden at one glance, it creates interest around the garden. It also blends in very well with the pavilion next to it. We now have a functioning toilet/utility space and air con/heating. I have pretty much filled the space with all my studio gear. The recess for the plan chest and bookshelves worked perfectly. There isn’t a gnat’s hair’s breadth between the bookcase and the wall, but it fitted. At the other end of the studio is my jewellery work bench and alongside it a storage space for my paintings. Thank you so much all of you. You made it look so easy – which means that you are all very good at it.

The website made it easy to see the quality of the studios and the prices for a variety of sizes and optional extras. Gary and his team worked tirelessly and finished ahead of schedule. It’s fair to say that, ahead of installation, our electrician had concerns about connecting up to the outside junction box of the studio rather than directly to its consumer unit inside. I have waited a while before writing to see how well our studio has settled down and as you can see from the photos, it sits beautifully in my garden. We are currently using it as a gym and yoga studio. Regardless of the rain and cold weather it has been in constant use – the underfloor heating is a dream. The Sanctum team worked like demons, fuelled only by vats of tea and coffee, to complete my Contemporary studio in under three days. Gary and the lads are a friendly, helpful bunch. When they found themselves with half an hour to spare, they helpfully filled in the soil on the trench I’d had dug for the electrical cable, even though there was no obligation to do so. The finish on the studio both inside and out is absolutely superb and it looks like a magnificent piece of modern art in the garden. We’re having artificial turf laid this week, so I’ll send you over some photos of the finished effect. Thank you very much for your hard work. I can’t recommend Sanctum highly enough.

I chose the Hampton garden studio offered by Sanctum.
It was competitively priced relative to other garden studios that were available. Sanctum were very flexible with regard to some minor design tweaks that I required to fit the studio tight up against a property boundary. The site team who constructed the studio did an excellent job and consulted with me throughout the build (which took only a few hours) to ensure I was happy with various aspects of the construction. I am very pleased with the quality of the final product and I believe it enhances our property as a whole, while giving me a quiet place to work when I need it.

I am living the dream with my Hampton studio. It looks great,
and critically, it’s very well insulated, storing the heat incredibly well. Very impressed with the installation process, it took less than a day and the guys were very polite and courteous. Their customer service has been amazing too, before and after the sale, always on hand to answer any questions. Compared to other studios on the market (and I did a lot of research) I’d say Sanctum are brilliant value for money and I’d highly recommend them.

Having been previously and repeatedly let down by another company who were meant to be building me a garden office, I finally ran out of patience and decided to look for someone with more credibility to build me and office, which is when I came across Sanctum Studios. Sam was very accommodating and sympathetic to the fact I had recently been twice let down at the last minute and found me the first available slot for my 2.4m by 2.4m Hampton studio to be built.
All correspondence was very polite and professional, and Sanctum did everything they could to accommodate any requests that I had. The 2 man team arrived at 9am and by 3pm they had already packed up and left! I must say that before the office came I was a little nervous if the 2.4m by 2.4m size was going to be big enough, but now I am in it definitely is, easily. With just me and my desk in there, and some drawers there is comfortably enough room. Heating and cooling was also a big point as I will use the office 5 days a week all year round, but so far it has been easy to heat with a 400w electric panel heater and if it gets too warm then just having the door slightly open sorts that out – it is very comfortable. All in all I am very pleased.

We are thrilled with our garden studio and our experience from the very beginning of the process has been great. The Sanctum website is straight forward and pricing is transparent – the cost for even the optional extras is available. Whilst we were making our decision, Sam was friendly and helpful and readily responded to all questions, however small. Gary and his team arrived punctually on the designated day and worked very efficiently, leaving our studio finished 1.5 days later. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Sanctum.

I am absolutely delighted with it. The quality is even better than I had hoped, the team were fantastic – they worked hard and were friendly and helpful. Gary went the extra mile by ensuring that two small potential cat escape routes were blocked before they left! Of course the whole process was made smooth by your own friendly support and advice, even when I changed my mind at least twice in the run up to production. Having a Sanctum Garden Studio installed was a pleasant and simple process.
The website made it easy to see the quality of the studios and the prices for a variety of sizes and optional extras. Sam and Gary were easy to contact via phone and email and were able to answer my questions quickly and easily. On the day of installation, I was astonished at how quickly the studio went up. Gary and his team worked tirelessly and finished ahead of schedule. It’s fair to say that, ahead of installation, our electrician had concerns about connecting up to the outside junction box of the studio rather than directly to it’s consumer unit inside. However, when they arrived to wire up they were delighted to see the quality of the work and materials used by Sanctum. Many thanks to you all!

Having dismissed other suppliers and what appeared to be their ‘glorified garden sheds’,
Sanctum’s studios offered double-glazing and insulation along with a high standard of overall build quality and durability, combined with value for money, which easily swung our decision in their favour. Being located within a conservation village, the materials and finish, as well as an architectural style consistent with our house, were helpful in gaining the necessary planning permissions. Sam was very helpful in organising a visit to a recently installed studio nearby, which convinced us how good the product actually was. A series of emails and photos maintained an ongoing dialogue addressing issues relating to planning, access, site-preparation and pre-constructional details about electrics and glazing, which helped make advance specification easy, so that we had no nasty surprises when the studio was delivered. A delivery and construction date was helpfully arranged in advance to address the lengthy planning process, as well as fit in with our complicated holiday arrangements and most importantly, was adhered to, so ten out of ten to Sanctum for both service and organisation. Gary and the team duly arrived early on the appointed day with all the pre-fabricated components and within about five hours, we had an erected and operational garden studio. It was critical that the studio fitted exactly into the prepared site, so that there was no disruption to our garden planting and the team was very careful and tidy throughout the installation. One word of warning, they do like their tea and coffee so be prepared! Now, about four months after completion, the studio is proving to be an excellent work-space. Although it is slightly smaller than her previous studio, the interior has been carefully planned to maximise space with shelving and storage units, fold-down trestle legs and table as well as large-scale easel, which offers a versatile working environment. We have also ordered an A1 size plan chest which will fit neatly in below the shelves. Jacqueline loves being able to just walk out of the house into a light and cosy environment within our lovely garden which has now grown up again around the studio, so that it now looks as if it has always been there. We should also add that friends and neighbours are extremely impressed with what is in fact, a superb addition to our house. We would not hesitate in recommending Sanctum, and indeed, we have already done so, to anyone interested in a superb quality garden studio at a very reasonable price. A very big thanks to all at Sanctum!
